Position Overview:

Under general supervision, use hand and electric tools to mount parts, fabricate sheet metal enclosures, assemble power stacks, and install power wire and wire harnesses according to job shop instructions and company standards. Basic understanding of measuring (to 1/32nd of an inch), torque tolerance, and hardware assembly is required. Willingness to cross-train in other departments to support team needs is expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• 0-2 years’ experience in fabrication, sheet metal, carpentry, or related fields
• Basic understanding of measuring, torque tolerance, and hardware assembly
• Ability to work independently and meet quality and productivity standards
• Good time-management skills and ability to prioritize
• Willingness to work hours as needed to meet deadlines
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service, and teamwork
• Willingness to perform additional duties and cross-train in other departments

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with greenlee punches, plasma cutters, and metal punches
• Experience in fabricating and assembling control panels
• Technical degree related to wiring or electro-mechanical assembly
