Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. in Burlington, NC seeks an Assembler I to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products according to customer specifications.

You will secure parts and supplies needed for the operation and set up the work area to ensure quality, safety and efficiency. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (not required if lacking), with 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months manufacturing/assembling experience preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup
• Fits parts together according to instructions and quality standards
• Operates hand tools to complete assembly
• Stamps, labels, and bands finished products as needed
• Ensures work area, equipment, and surroundings are safe and clean
• Maintains production records as required
• Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards
• Participates in safety and quality programs and meetings
• Performs other duties as assigned
