Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, seeks an onsite manufacturing associate in San Marcos, TX to read and follow blueprints, operate hand tools, and maintain product inventory. You will perform quality checks, identify defects, and rework items as needed while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and prior manufacturing experience. First shift, onsite work with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

• Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.

• Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
• Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
• Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications you must have:

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US)
• Experience within a Manufacturing environment

Qualification we prefer:

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment..
• Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Self-directed & action oriented with the ability to work in a team environment to resolve most questions and problems.
• Relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction / facilities experience
