SEKISUI Aerospace in Sumner, WA is seeking an Assembler I to support mass production of aircraft composite products. The role follows takt time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly tasks under supervision.
Responsibilities include using small hand tools, applying bonding adhesives, wrapping insulation, light sanding, and occasional riveting. The position requires attention to detail, basic math, and good communication.

Summary
The Assembler works according to takt time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly processes to mass-produce commercial aircraft composite products.
Entry/Junior level individual contributor, semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles. Requires little or no prior experience and no more than a few months of training that is often received while on the job. Has little or no autonomy and works under close supervision. Achieves competency with skills assigned to this level over time.

Understanding of process specifications.
High School Diploma/GED preferred.
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.

While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment.
Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature-controlled.
Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
Exposure to hazardous equipment.
Exposure to contaminants.
Shared workspaces with other employees.
Requires handing objects of up to 50 lbs.
Lifting pushing, pulling, and bending.
Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift and overtime).
