Responsibilities

• Locate, learn, and understand assembly instructions from procedures, drawings, and standard work instructions.
• Verify and inspect work according to standard work and perform quality checks and tests.
• Use power, pneumatic, Smart torque, and hand tools as applicable; adhere to safety rules.
• Support a well-organized, safe, and clean workplace and participate in continuous improvement.

SUMMARY:

The general assembly process may require the employee to work at any station during the workday dependent on staffing and production demands. All employees may be expected to rotate to different workstations, or they may be required to work in a specific workstation depending on experience, training, and skill level to perform work tasks.

Locate, learn, and understand assembly instructions from procedures, drawings, and standard work instructions. Verifies and inspects work according to standard work. Perform quality checks and tests. Use power, pneumatic, Smart torque, and hand tools, where applicable. Adhere to work and safety rules. Good verbal communication Supports and demonstrates a well-organized, safe, and clean workplace. Basic understanding, support, and commitment to the team and continuous improvement by getting involved and actively contributing ideas for improvement.
