Job summary

Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. is seeking a shop associate in Guthrie, OK to prepare, assemble, and repair oilfield products. This role involves shipping and receiving repaired goods, delivering items, stamping and labeling equipment, and operating air tools.

You will ensure compliance with corporate standards and participate in the Health and Safety program while maintaining a clean, safe work area and supporting various duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends instructions.
• Operates air tools safely and effectively.
• Can read blueprints, follow instructions, and read measurements.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment.
• Regularly lifts up to 20 lb and up to 45 lb.
• Able to operate a forklift for loading/unloading freight.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health and Safety program.
• Prepare, assemble, and repair oilfield products.
• Assemble components into skidded packages.
• Ship/receive repaired goods and arrange delivery.
• Stamp and label equipment.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Maintain shop and work area cleanliness.
• Assemble piping on skidded vessels, threaded or non-threaded.
• Measure and pipe wrench threaded pipe.

• Assemble multiple components into completed skidded packages.
• Shipping and Receiving of repaired goods, as well as delivery.
• Stamping and labeling equipment.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with established corporate standards.
• Housekeeping of shop and work area.
• Assembling piping on skidded vessels, threaded/non-threaded.
• Measuring, pipe wrenching threaded pipe.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Able to operate air tools
• Ability to read blue prints, follow instructions, and read measurements.
• Work in a fast paced environment.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
• The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Experience

• 6+ months.
