You will be part of a dedicated, experienced, and high-performing team at our new Dexter, MI site. At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices.

You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement and achieving production goals.

Available Shifts include:

  • 1st Shift: 6am-2:30pm M-F
  • 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm M-F
  • 3rd Shift: 10pm-6:30am Su-Thurs

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
  • Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
  • Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
  • May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Candidates hired for this position will be eligible for a performance-based pay increase after their first 90 days of employment. This increase is contingent upon meeting key performance metrics and maintaining excellent attendance during the initial evaluation period.

As an Assembler I, you'll have access to clear career development opportunities within Medtronic. This role offers a pathway to advance to higher-level positions, such as Assembler II and beyond. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $34,000.00 - $51,000.00
