Job summary

SAVOYE NORTH AMERICA designs and integrates supply chain solutions and is expanding its Aurora team. The Assembler 1 role supports our client-focused business model by building mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies according to work instructions.

You will work in a fast-paced team, use power tools and measuring tools, and contribute to a safe, organized shop environment while growing your technical skills with SAVOYE systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Proven experience as an assembler.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to use power tools, torque wrenches, and follow product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies per work instructions.
• Ensure all parts are fitted and secured correctly.
• Verify hardware/items match specifications during assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Be a team player and show up on time.
• Adhere to safety rules and guidelines.
• Take pride in quality workmanship.

Qualification, Education, and Experience Requirements

• 1+Years of Experience in electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Proven experience as an assembler

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to use power tools, hand tools, torque wrenches, and follow product specifications
• Lifting items up to 35-lbs
• Ability to use and understand metric/standard tape measure

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for assembling mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies that involve assembly of components, wires, belts, pulleys, and circuit boards in accordance with work instructions
• Responsible for ensuring all parts are fitted and secured properly
• Responsible for ensuring correct hardware/items are being used when assembling components
• Safety conscious with extreme respect for company safety rules and guidelines
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Energetic, ambitious, and hard working with a strong technical aptitude.
• Be a team player and contributor in shop, Show mutual respect for coworkers
• Show up to work every day and on time

Working Conditions

• Long periods of sitting and/or standing will be required.
• Willing to work overtime when required
• Although this is a full-time position (40 hours per week), extended hours and evenings may be required based on client needs.
• Located at our Savoye office: Aurora, IL
