Overview
Assembler - Glass 1st Shift will work from 4:30am to 3:00pm, Monday through Thursday, on an assigned production line. The role requires following SOPs for specific job assignments and working on orders that demand attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Verify materials against the bill of materials
  • Ensure materials meet quality standards
  • Label units as needed
  • Assemble complex door components requiring higher-level skills
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Assemble fabricated parts into large or heavy subassemblies and complete units
  • Test and calibrate parts/mechanisms to meet tolerances and specifications
  • Follow instructions and established guidelines
  • Verify component placement per SOP
  • Repeat tasks as assigned
  • Clean work area at shift end
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication, basic math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of door components
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and understand bill of materials
  • Must lift up to 75+ lbs.
  • Proficiency with manual and pneumatic tools such as Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square
  • May involve repetitive motions, bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • Ability to organize and maintain detailed records
  • Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential
  • Follow all operational and safety SOPs

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, not required
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of quality door construction standards and assembly techniques
