Job summary

Carbis Solution Group in Florence, South Carolina, is seeking candidates who are proficient with hand and power tools and can meet demanding physical requirements. Successful candidates will be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted and working in non-climate-controlled environments.

The role requires reading job file orders efficiently and the ability to work at heights exceeding 6 feet. Those selected must also be willing to work 1st shift and overtime with short notice.

Qualifications

• Familiarity and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read job file orders and enter data efficiently.
• Able to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch.

Responsibilities

• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Work in extreme heat and cold conditions.
• Work a 1st shift schedule and overtime with short notice.
• Bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and stand for up to twelve hours.
• Work at heights of greater than 6 feet.

Job description

• Must be familiar with and proficient with the use of hand and power tools
• Must be able to read job file orders and enter data efficiently into the tracking system
• Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work in the natural element of heat and cold (production facility is not heated in winter nor cooled in summer)
• Ability to work a 1st shift schedule and overtime with short notice
• Ability to bend, stoop, sit, grasp with hands, feel texture with fingers, cling, walk, twist, stand, and work on concrete for up to twelve hours per day up to six (6) days per week
• Ability to work inside of the plant facility as well as outside of the facility as work load dictates
• Must be able to work at heights of greater than 6 feet on a regular basis/as work dictates
