Federal Ammunition is seeking Assemblers who will work safely and maintain all quality standards while achieving production levels at or above the posted goal; thereby ensuring customers receive quality products when they want them at a competitive price.

This position reports to the Factory Operations Supervisor and is based out of our Anoka Location.
Shift Q : 7pm-7am, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday
(Training the first few weeks may be on another shift)
Compensation: $20.80/hour plus applicable shift differential with first 90 day increase to $23.62 and additional increases every 90 days based on performance, up to $26.49
Standing and moving for about 90% of the time. Reaching, handling, fingering and manual dexterity to assemble and inspect. Occasional lifting, moving, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasional unilateral lifting up to 20 pounds. Near vision for detecting quality defects and far vision for operations of forklift or other mobile equipment. Must have normal color vision and normal depth perception capability. Climbing, stooping, bending, and crouching on a daily basis.
High level of mental attentiveness for safety and to manipulate and visually inspect small parts. Reading and basic math comprehension to understand and interpret training guides, standard operating procedures and quality information (charts, graphs, etc.) and to complete production reports. Interpersonal communication skills to facilitate problem-solving and to function effectively as part of a work team. Flexibility to move between jobs and to handle many tasks simultaneously.
Operation of hand tools, forklift and other mobile equipment.
Manufacturing floor environment is subject to exposure to noise, vibration, summer heat, moving objects and mechanical equipment hazards. Exposure to a wide variety of chemicals possible depending on assigned area. Work is often done with and around others as part of work teams and back-up from co-workers or supervisor is generally available.
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
