Job Description

Wieland Onda is hiring an Assembler & Equipment Operator. The Assembler & Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring that components are machined and finished as specified by the detailed drawings and procedures of the company, while meeting the defined quality standards. We are seeking a flexible individual who can manage varying job duties from day to day. This role is located in Delaware, Ohio, and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19.00 - 21.00

Schedule: 7:30am - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday

Pay Schedule: Biweekly

Responsibilities:

  • Follow production orders, company procedures, and supervisor instructions to prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.
  • Perform assembly operations using power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
  • Prepare parts for assembly through grinding, blasting, cutting of metals, etc.
  • Execute assembly according to company procedures and documents, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working condition by applying preventative maintenance as instructed.
  • Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency with standard hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
