Job summary

Dover Food Retail is hiring a Support 3 at our Colonial Heights, VA manufacturing site. The position involves setting up, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting line machinery as it moves along the assembly line, and moving materials and finished goods for production.

We seek candidates with broad knowledge of operational procedures, who can train junior staff and handle non-routine issues that require analysis. Pay is USD 22.50 hourly with bonus and commissions eligibility.

Accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment at fixed workstation positions including: Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly as it moves along the assembly line. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods. Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.

A Support 3 requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.

Pay Range: USD 22.50 - 22.50 Hourly

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
