Default Brand is seeking a warehouse associate to box and pack pillows and ship them according to ATC standards. You will load components, prepare boxes, apply labels, and maintain accurate carton counts.
You will operate a pallet jack, record downtime and changeovers, and follow safety guidelines. This full-time position requires basic math skills and the ability to stand for long shifts; training will ensure you meet performance standards within a week.
Responsible for boxing/packing pillows according to ATC standards and work assignments and recording the information in the ATC system. New hired or transferred employees are expected to perform this job to standard within 1 week.
Responsible for supplying production lines with components. Loading hoppers with fiber, making boxes for pillows, and applying license plates to pallets. Pulling bags and shells to the line from the staging area. Responsible for packing and boxing pillows. Responsible for packing shipping cartons with finished products according to customer specifications. Responsible for accurate carton count and for affixing appropriate labels onto cartons.
Scanning license plates using hand-held scanners. Select orders to run on operator screen and records downtime and changeovers on operator screens. Keeps records of fiber license plates pulled to the line.
Responsible for following production changeover duties in between work orders.
Responsible for careful and safe use of all company equipment and property. Responsible for reporting any equipment problems to the immediate supervisor, or the maintenance department. Responsible for performing duties in such a way as to ensure the safety of oneself and one’s co-workers.
And other duties as assigned.
