Job summary

S&C Electric Company is seeking an assembler in Palatine, IL to coordinate the assembly function. You will assemble Mark V, TR-II, ScadaMate, or Vista Switches in a production environment, ensuring smooth operations and meeting time constraints.

You will stand for long periods, work with hand and power tools, read blueprints, and perform mechanical inspections to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in reading blueprints.
• Experience with mechanical assembly and hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Soldering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble Mark V and TR-II switches at multiple stations.
• Use torque wrenches, tape measure, and testing equipment.
• Identify, transport, install, and bolt components.
• Follow safety and quality procedures.
