Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is seeking an Assembler (ATS) for the 2nd shift in North Carolina. The role involves winding, assembly, wiring, and copper operations to create sub-assemblies and final assemblies of control equipment, with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include building/ wiring main breaker units, ensuring bracing specifications, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Overtime may be required, and relocation benefits are not offered.

Qualifications

Job description

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Assembler (ATS) 2nd shift Full Time. The hourly rate for this position is $19.50 per hour. The shift hours are 3:30pm - 2am. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

The primary function of the ATS - Assembler is to perform winding, assembly, complex and repetitive wiring, and copper operations to produce complete sub-assemblies and final assembly of control equipment. Check electrical / mechanical performance of completed assemblies. Pack and prepare product for shipping.

• Build/Wire Main Breaker Units
• Full Mechanical Assembly of the overall structure, build/wire/ doors and electrical devices, build/install copper, and complete full cleanup of structures post-test to ship.
• Ensure that copper connections are braced to meet bracing specifications.
• Ensure that all clearance requirements are maintained.
• Install and wire electrical devices required per Bill of Material and wire diagrams and schematics.
• Maintain build schedule for Main Breaker production demand
• Work with supervisors/team leads/water spiders to escalation production issues immediately
• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
