Job summary

Bell Textron Inc. in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an Assembler Aircraft A to perform a wide range of production and experimental assembly on all parts of the aircraft.

You will lay out, fabricate and fit component parts, install and adjust complex assemblies, and work without jigs or fixtures when required. Duties include riveting on sub-assemblies, installing landing gear, making difficult repairs per design changes, and reading blueprints or sketches to complete the majority of assembly

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of aircraft assembly experience.

  • Makes difficult repairs and alterations per design changes, removing the required parts and making replacements.
  • The incumbent may be required to work from blueprints or project sketches and templates without the use of jigs or fixtures and should be able to perform a majority of the assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft.
  • May be required to do riveting on sub-assemblies or installations, which he is working on.
  • Performs all around landing gear installations and adjustments.

Assembler Aircraft A - What You'll Be Doing

Performs a wide variety of production and/or experimental assembly operations on all parts of the aircraft.

Skills You Bring To This Role

Aircraft mechanics’ tools, wrenches, hammers, pliers, levels, clamps, rigging equipment, drills, shears, templates, fixtures, files and a variety of measuring instruments.

What You Need To Be Successful

Three (3) years of aircraft assembly experience.
