Zusammenfassung

Hendrickson is seeking a focused assembly operator to use hand and pneumatic tools to construct products according to company and customer specifications. You will understand beams, air springs, axles, hubs, and locking devices and explain their role in the final assembly.

The role requires organizing all aspects of the assembly process, maintaining quality inspections, and working in a team environment. Regular lifting and torqueing with wrenches are expected in a busy manufacturing setting.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years of prior production assembly experience.
• Must have verifiable references.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.

Position Purpose

• Use required Hand and pneumatic tools to assemble product per Company and customer specifications.

Essential Functions

• Understand associated parts, such as beams, air springs, axles, hubs, and locking devices and their relationship to the end product.
• Must be able to organize all aspects of the assembly process.
• Accountable for quality inspections throughout assembly process.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Continuous inspection of associated equipment and parts used in the assembly process to ensure good working condition. (air tools, torque wrenches, nuts and bolts…)
• Ability to lift sub-components to the line - Must be able to physically lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to use pneumatic tooling to assemble and torque products. Torques range from 90 to 310 ft. lbs.
• Ability to function in Assembly Paint area as assigned.
• Ability to function in the Assembly Packaging area as assigned.
• Must possess a high level of attention to detail.

Education and Training

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs.
• Must have verifiable references.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and build specifications.
• Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
• Must be able to utilize torque wrenches according to specs.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing, forward bending, reaching, balancing, use of cervical spine motion, lower extremities, simple grasp, firm grasp, fine manipulation, and pinching.
• Frequent walking
• Occasional squatting
• Minimal sitting and climbing
• Lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Carrying 10-50 lbs. up to 25 feet.
• Push/Pull 10-50 force lbs.

Work Environment: Industrial

Lighting: Adequate.

Temperature: Non-Temperature Controlled. Humidity, Heat, Cold are factors during the year.
