Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in North Little Rock, AR is seeking candidates for a second-shift assembler to build wheel loaders and motor graders. The role offers Day ONE benefits and a starting wage of $19.35 per hour with a 7% shift differential, on an assembly line at the North Little Rock site.

Openings on 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 3 pm–11 pm, with overtime opportunities possible. Training and orientation are required for two weeks, Monday–Friday, 7 am–3 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous work or volunteer experience (Assembly experience is not required, we provide classroom and on the job training).
• Willingness and ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to various operations.
• Willingness and ability to lift to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team, following work instructions to build Caterpillar machines.
• Collaborate with support teams to make continuous improvements to the assembly process.
• Utilize assembly tools and lifting devices to make the work easier and safer.
• Own the work you do, actively seeking to learn and improve to ensure safety and quality.
