Job summary

ManpowerGroup is hiring an Assembler on the 2nd shift in Dixon, IL, with training on the 1st shift. Immediate openings and competitive pay start at $20+ per hour. This is a full-time opportunity with training provided and potential for cross-training across departments.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and assemble components while upholding quality and safety standards. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and convert fractions/decimals.
• Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using blueprints and work instructions.
• Read bills of materials and use measuring tools.
• Use hand and power tools safely.
• Tag and label finished products.
• Maintain quality standards and a safe work environment.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
