Position

Assemblers are responsible for building surface maintenance equipment according to blueprints and written specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble component parts for products according to established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality.
  • Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners.
  • Test installed parts and accessories for leakage, continuity, and functionality.
  • Fit, trim, align, and adjust parts and components, as well as attach hardware and seals assembly.
  • Solders, lugs, routes, and ties electrical components.
  • Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.
Qualifications
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings.
  • Has strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Physical ability to work in awkward positions for extended periods of time and regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to calibrate unit according to specification.
  • Previous related manufacturing experience.
