Job summary

ABB is hiring a Production Assembler for the 2nd shift at an onsite facility. You will work under production supervision to build high-quality products at the lowest cost while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements.

You will assemble per work instructions, safely use hand and power tools, and maintain all required paperwork. Adherence to safety and housekeeping rules is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of electromechanical assembly or related experience.
• Requires the use of ESD equipment and ESD safety shoes, and safety glasses and hearing protection as required.
• Requires ability to operate a wide variety of small hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products according to work instructions ensuring proper parts, revisions of parts, and documentation.
• Safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ensure completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, records, documentation, reject tickets, etc.
• Follow and comply with all safety and housekeeping rules and regulations.

Your role and responsibilities:

Under the direction of production supervision, the Production Assembler builds the highest quality products at the lowest possible cost, meeting company production standards, and customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Assemble products according to work instructions ensuring the proper parts, components, revisions of parts, and documentation are included.
• Safely use small hand and power tools
• Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, records, documentation, reject tickets reporting, etc.
• Follow and comply with all safety and housekeeping rules and regulations.
