Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a production associate to load, operate, and unload rubber press equipment, ensuring products meet specs with minimal waste and a safe workplace. You will follow procedures for material handling, monitor lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times, and document production data.

You will maintain a clean work area, inspect pads and stoppers, process items through cooling, and stock pallets, while adhering to safety policies and QSR requirements

Qualifications

• Ability to load raw materials and ensure proper distribution for mold coverage.
• Monitor and operate press equipment to meet specifications for lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area; dispose of scrap and waste properly.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations to prevent quality issues.
• Accurately complete production, quality, and process documentation.
• Inspect pads and stoppers, perform corrective actions when defects are found.

Job description

Job Summary:

• Responsible for loading, operating, and unloading rubber press equipment to manufacture products that meet all product specifications, quality standards, and production requirements while minimizing waste and maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Functions:

• Load raw materials into the press according to established procedures, ensuring proper weight and material distribution for consistent Mold coverage.
• Monitor and operate press equipment to ensure lubrication, temperature, tonnage, and cycle times meet product specifications. Report any equipment issues or process deficiencies to the setup technician or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by properly disposing of scrap, waste, and other materials in designated locations.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations by removing oil, cured scrap, water, and other contaminants that could affect product quality before or after curing.
• Accurately complete production, quality, and process documentation.
• Trim excess material from pads, inspect stoppers for quality defects, and perform necessary corrective actions when defects are identified.
• Process manufactured pads through the cooling unit according to established procedures.
• Stack and place pads or stoppers onto pallets or other designated storage locations.
• Follow all safety policies, environmental procedures, and Quality System Regulations (QSRs) always.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule.
• Shift Hours: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
