Summary

This role involves using hand, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools, fixtures, and instructions to assemble and disassemble components accurately.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm. Flexibility for overtime on Fridays and Saturdays may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow detailed assembly/disassembly instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Assemble components by checking connections, fastening parts, and subassemblies
  • Disassemble components using hand and power tools
  • Clean and buff components
  • Wash components in solvents and run through parts washers
  • Blow out parts to remove solvents and dirt
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace per 5S protocol
  • Ensure schedules are followed accurately
  • Operate within SOPs and JSAs
  • Turn off equipment when not in use
  • Pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Cross-training willingness
  • Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of basic mechanics, hand tools, and testing procedures
  • Preferred: 1+ year of mechanical assembly/disassembly experience
  • Experience with overhead cranes is a plus, not required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have: Ability to identify and use specific hand, pneumatic, and power tools
  • Preferred: Mechanical training or related experience
  • Nice to have: Ability to read analog and digital measuring devices (micrometers, indicators, calipers)
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
Physical Demands
  • Lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Walk and stand for extended periods during shifts
  • On-site presence required during scheduled hours
Work Environment

Shop environment, non-temperature-controlled, with environmental variations.

Compensation
