Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an Assembler 2 to support mechanical assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will perform set-ups and adjustments with tolerance to drawings and written instructions, and may test equipment and products.

Reporting to the Supervisor of Manufacturing and Operations, you will work with hand tools, follow written guidance, and contribute to team goals in a fast-paced production environment.

• Proficiency in Oracle and Lean manufacturing preferred
• Highly motivated and able to function in a team-oriented manufacturing environment

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Occasionally moves/positions object up to 20 pounds
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for 30% of the time
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
• The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)

Compensation and Benefits:
