Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Regs Assembler (Team B) on the 3rd shift in Nacogdoches, TX. Core hours are Sun–Thu, 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; overtime may be required.

The hourly base is $19.75 with a $1.35 shift differential; salary guidelines depend on experience and qualifications. The role involves final assembly of electricity regulators, building per instructions with calibrated tooling, and close collaboration with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be within 50 miles of the Nacogdoches, TX facility.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly of electricity regulators per standard methods.
• Assemble components across work centers using calibrated tooling.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and shipping to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct ratio testing and troubleshoot problems to complete tests.
• Move units with cranes and power vehicles; repair defective items.
• Follow safety protocols and 5S+ housekeeping standards.

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regs Assembler (Team B)- 3rd Shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.

The hourly rate for this position is $19.75 per hour, plus a $1.35 shift differential.

What you’ll do:

The Regs Assembler is responsible for performing the final assembly operations of electricity regulators according to prescribed standard methods and procedures.

In this function, you will:

• Perform tasks across various work centers, including covers, pumps, basic assembly, single-pot assembly, two-pot assembly, all tap changer.
• Build the product per work instructions and quality standards that are required in the assembly with use of calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.).
• Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping department to ensure product is completed and shipped on time.
• Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot any potential problems found in order to complete ratio test.
• Move units by use of overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles.
• Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective or require other needed changes.
• Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments.
• Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process.
• Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the Nacogdoches, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
