Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. in Urbana, OH is seeking an Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble, test, and calibrate fabricated parts to product specifications using hand and power tools, ensuring quality at every step.

Starting pay up to $17.00/hr plus a Subco Bonus up to $3,000 based on perfect attendance. 1st shift 5am–3pm with potential hybrid work after 90 days; comprehensive benefits and a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2-4 years of experience in assembly or related field.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in assembly.
Willingness to work with eye exams related to soldering (Solder Eye Exams).
Ability to work in a structured environment with defined processes.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and handle moderate physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations using hand tools and power tools.
Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure they meet required tolerances and product specifications.
Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels, and perform repairs as necessary.
Follow detailed instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform your job effectively and accurately.
Report to supervisors and work under immediate supervision to meet production goals.
