Job summary

The Toro Company’s Ventrac division in Orrville, OH, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler. You will perform final assembly of Ventrac products following established procedures and work instructions, using hand tools or machines and hoists as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read assembly instructions, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Wages are $20 per hour, with a first shift schedule 5:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow assembly procedures and instructions.
• Maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand tools or machines.
• Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
• Conduct quality checks to verify functioning and conformance to specifications.
• Rework/repair or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
