Job summary

Baxter is seeking an Associate Assembler to support plant operations and help meet and exceed production targets. You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve line challenges and coach peers while building various products.

The role emphasizes continuous learning across product types and leadership development, with a focus on safety, quality, and adherence to standard work instructions on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • Must have basic product knowledge and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently perform all assigned product assemblies following standard work instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary.
  • Complete work in prescribed time period and move completed components to designated area.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Assist team members to ensure a quality product and smooth workflow.
  • Communicate issues to leadership clearly and professionally.
  • Support business needs including overtime as required.
  • Participate in change management and lean transformation activities.
  • Adhere to Safety and Quality Management policies at all times.

Your role at Baxter:

As an Associate Assembler you will supports the operation of the Plant by ensuring established targets are met and exceeded. This role will require capable knowledge of building some products and subject matter expert for some job functions. You will participate with engineering and quality to work through challenges on the line to solve issues as they arise, and you will show leaderships skills and be a leader/coach to your peers. You will embrace continuous learning to gain knowledge of all product types associated with the work area. Striving to attain the skill sets to address builds that are more challenging.

What you'll be doing:

  • The role, including all day to day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services.

Salary and Compensation
