Job summary

AssemblerWesterman, Inc. in Casper, WY is seeking an assembler to join a production team responsible for the assembly of piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners, and related equipment on pressure vessels and skids.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months of heavy assembly/manufacturing experience, read blueprints, and operate cranes and forklifts safely. This role demands good math, attention to quality, and adherence to lean methods and company safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months heavy assembly/manufacturing experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified in Crane and Forklift operation.
  • Able to read a tape measure.
  • Able to read assembly blueprints and bill of materials.
  • Basic knowledge of lean methods.
  • Follow safety & production policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Regular attendance is required and essential for team effectiveness.
  • Safely use hand/air/power tools to assemble components.
  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper sealing of connections.
  • Document vessel parts/components and prepare for hydrostatic testing.
  • Assist in loading shipments and maintain safety practices.
  • Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures.

AssemblerWesterman, Inc., an employee-owned company, is a multiple site manufacturer of production and storage equipment within the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide.SUMMARY The Assembler role is responsible for assembly of all piping, valves, gauges, reliefs, burners, and other associated equipment on pressure vessels and skids. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.RESPONSIBILITIES: Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group.
