Job summary

Voith Hydro in York, PA is seeking an Assembler Trainee to support our North American hydropower division. In this role you will work on unique, one-off mechanical assemblies for large hydroelectric machines, using hand and power tools.

The ideal candidate has a strong willingness to learn, a high school diploma or GED, and basic assembly skills. Voith offers a full benefits package starting on hire and a safe, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates basic abilities in Major Mechanical Assembly and Testing Techniques and Procedures.
• Effective in Minor Assembly (i.e., valves, sub-assemblies, bearings, etc.).
• Demonstrate knowledge in the use of all assembly tools.
