IMS People in Kenosha, WI is seeking an assembler for a temp-to-hire role on 1st or 2nd shift. The position involves assembling electronic or electromechanical assemblies, with light to medium weight components, and the ability to read blueprints and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies, which may vary from sitting to standing, moving line to stationary, with very light to medium weigh components.
  • Determines and/or follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation and cable harnessing on assembly units.
  • Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
  • Inspect product using established quality criteria.
  • Follow detailed color-coded instructions to perform intricate installation, hand soldering, wiring, harnessing and hardware assembly on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies.

Hourly Range: $18.72/hr
