Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas is seeking an Assembly Worker II to support our production team in wiring, assembly, welding, and testing of high-quality products. You will follow engineering specs and drawings, set up welds, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers both 1st and 3rd shifts, with opportunities to learn, grow technically, and contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Perform wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing operations on company products.
• Work from engineering specifications, sketches, schematic diagrams, verbal instructions, or detailed assembly drawings.
• Set-up and arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies, ensuring proper fitting and alignment.
• Utilize assembly tools, electrical testing equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and ensure inventory control while adhering to safety regulations.

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and assembly, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Worker II to join their team. As an Assembly Worker II, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and testing of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker II

Pay Range: $23.22-$25.22 per hour

Shift: 1st and3rd shift available

What's the Job?

• Perform wiring, assembly, finishing, welding, and testing operations on company products.
• Work from engineering specifications, sketches, schematic diagrams, verbal instructions, or detailed assembly drawings.
• Set-up and arc weld parts, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies, ensuring proper fitting, aligning, and adjusting for optimal functionality.
• Utilize miscellaneous assembly tools, electrical measuring and test equipment, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect parts, maintain quality standards, and ensure inventory control while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment.
