Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product, performing high‑level continuous work to quality standards. Assignments may change based on business demands.

Responsibilities
  • Perform repetitive progressive line assembly of parts and sub‑assemblies on any line within the plant, following predetermined standard work.
  • Read, understand, and apply method sheets, assembly diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Detect quality defects and unsafe conditions.
  • Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
  • Read printed drawings to determine dimensions, design, and materials for construction.
  • Operate power pneumatic and hand tools required for performing job duties, and use measuring devices such as tape measures and levels.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment, create work orders for repairs, and perform general housekeeping of the work area.
  • Maintain supplies inventory, anticipate needed supplies, place and expedite orders, and verify receipt of supplies. Load and unload equipment onto conveyors and carts, operating forklift trucks and hoists.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 1+ years of experience in blueprint reading.

  • Knowledge of and willingness to comply with all general work rules, policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Reliability and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Ability to learn to operate all equipment associated with the job, including power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices.
  • Ability to identify routine problem causation and correct routine problems.
  • Broad working knowledge and experience with standard work instructions.
  • Team oriented with the ability to work cohesively with others.
  • Detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked environment.
  • Tasks may include brazing, soldering, operating machines and presses, hanging and unhanging parts, and performing quality checks and tests.
Preferences
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Familiar with and ability to utilize all hand tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to use equipment and maintain a general understanding of the business process.
  • Familiar with and can utilize power tools.
  • Knowledgeable of and able to utilize computer systems.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

This position will be based at our site in West Chester, PA. No travel.
