Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assemble electromechanical components in specified relationship to each other by clipping, screwing, or otherwise fastening parts together.
2. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
3. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
4. Properly use sub-assembly equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish the job defined in the work order.
5. Document actions by completing production forms.
6. Perform routine visual inspection of parts and sub-assemblies for quality purposes.
7. Meet production goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or sample form.
2. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
3. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
4. Ability to take responsibility for the quality of work performed.
5. Ability to effectively write and read English.
6. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
7. Experience with a variety of hand tools used in mechanical and electrical cable assembly including air and electric power tools.
8. Preferred basic solder skills.
9. Ability to read and interpret bills of material.
10. High school diploma or equivalent required.
11. Preferred one year experience assembling electromechanical devices or general knowledge of sub-assembly processes and/or equivalent qualifying job experience.
12. Must be able to work overtime when warranted.

We pay weekly every Friday, have direct deposit, and offer a competitive benefits package: Medical, Dental Vision, 401k plan, etc. Benefits available shortly into this contract (30+ days - starting with the 1st of the month following 30 days of service).
