Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking an Assembler I in Virginia Beach. This hands-on role involves assembling mechanical components, following detailed work instructions, and using hand and pneumatic tools to build quality products in a team setting.

The position is full-time, onsite, and temp-to-hire, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting pay of $17–$18 per hour. Safety footwear, glasses, and uniforms are provided in the work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience with hand and pneumatic tools is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and parts according to work instructions and specifications
• Review assembly documents, process sheets, and Bills of Material (BOMs)
• Verify all required materials and components are available before assembly
• Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other assembly equipment
• Position, align, and install components accurately
• Take measurements and verify dimensions using measuring instruments
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and perform basic adjustments as needed
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Assemble mechanical components and parts according to work instructions and specifications
• Review assembly documents, process sheets, and Bills of Material (BOMs)

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, or other measuring tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
