Job summary

Custom Equipment, Inc., a leading aerial equipment manufacturer, seeks a motivated Assembler II to join our production team. You will perform manual assembly along all stations, meet labor rates, and maintain quality with minimal supervision.

You will use hand and power tools, follow printed assembly instructions, and lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Prior experience with BOMs and reading prints is a plus; we offer stable hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Able to build to print at quality level.
  • Manual dexterity required for using various tools and operating machinery.
  • Mechanical and electrical skills (2-3 years).
  • Ability to read bill of materials and product work instructions.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Responsibilities

  • Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
  • Operate production line equipment and hand/power tools efficiently at all workstations to assemble components.
  • Meets standard labor rates while maintaining quality standards.
  • Completes tasks directed by Plant Manager with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate & flex with co-workers to meet production goals.
  • Complete daily labor sheets and required production documentation.
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations daily.
  • Follows technical and verbal assembly instructions.
  • May perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Primary Purpose
