Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is hiring Assemblers and Auto Technicians in Penn Yan, NY for 1st shift (6am–2:30pm). Strong starting rate $20.80/hour with opportunities to increase, and a family-friendly schedule.

Duties include electronic device installation (lights, radios, HVAC), assembling bus components, reading blueprints and work orders, performing quality checks, using hand and power tools, and testing wiring and systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with auto electronics/mechanics highly desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Electronic device installation (lights, radios, HVAC systems).
• Assemble bus components including electrical systems, brake lines, suspension.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy, alignment, and operation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Connect and test wiring and onboard electronics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during build.
• Record work performed and report defects or delays.

Strong starting rate $20.80 plus opportunities to increase

Great schedule – Monday – Friday, 1st shift, 6am-2:30pm

(Family friendly schedule)

Job Duties:

• Electronic device installation – i.e. lights, air conditioners, radio/stereo systems, heating systems etc.
• Assemble bus components including electrical systems, brake lines, suspension, and the like
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and assembly instructions
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, alignment, and functional operation of installed parts
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete assembly and repair tasks
• Connect and test electrical wiring, lighting systems, and onboard electronics
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues during the build process
• Record work performed and report any defects or delays to supervisors
