Job summary

SKF, a leading bearings manufacturer, is hiring in St. Louis, MO for a permanent on-site position. You will assemble and test models per blueprints and work instructions, diagnose issues, and ensure safe operations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use assembly parts blueprints, drawings, schematics, work instructions, bills of materials, and inspection equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and perform transactions for own work as required.
• Adapt to factory environment including lifting and working around machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and Test models in proper sequence following blueprints, drawings, schematics, and work instructions both oral and written in a safe and efficient manner.
• Possess a working knowledge of sub-assemblies and equipment to ensure quality operations.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Due to manufacturing environment, be able to lift and work in typical shop conditions.

Location: St. Louis, Mo, US

Salary Range: $ 55,764.80

Required Daily responsibilities and expected skill include but are not limited to:

• Assemble and Test models in proper sequence following blueprints, drawings, schematics, and work instructions both oral and written in a safe and efficient manner.
• Possess a working knowledge of Lincoln's sub-assemblies as well as manual, pneumatic and electrically operated equipment, tools, and fixtures to ensure quality operations.
• Diagnose and correct malfunction in models reporting any discrepancies or unusual difficulties to the Department Leader or Supervisor and suggest improvements where possible.
• Due to the position being in a manufacturing environment, the Incumbent must be able to and would be subject to lifting, bending, twisting, oil, and other normal factory shop conditions.

• Perform transactions for own work as required.
• Keep area clean and orderly.
