Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Sedalia, MO is seeking an Assembler on 1st shift to assemble rotary screw or reciprocating compressors and related equipment from procedures, BOMs and blueprints.

You will inspect parts and assemblies, follow established procedures, and work in a team to meet quality and safety standards. High school diploma or GED preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with shop math, metrics, and conversions preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble compressors, blowers, and related equipment according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Perform inspection of parts and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Support basic unit build processes following established procedures.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to complete assembly tasks accurately.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Follow quality and safety standards to ensure proper assembly and performance.
