Job summary

Diakon Logistics, Inc. is looking for an Assembler to join our team in Sandston, VA. You will interpret blueprints, assemble components, and verify parts quantities while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. The role involves teamwork across departments to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Hourly rate ranges from $18 to $22, with bonus potential and a strong benefits package for full-time employees. Schedule is 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, open five days a week.

Qualifications

Assembler

An Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of plans. They verify the correct quantities of components, parts, and quality check completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

Duties

The day-to-day duties and responsibilities of an Assembler involves interpreting product blueprints and handling various tools. They must evaluate and analyze any non-conforming materials and make corrections, inspecting and repairing any returns. An Assembler should be a people person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. Based on workloads may need to participate in inventory management functions, recycling management, and other warehouse related actions as needed for effective shift performance.

Schedule: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The location is open five days a week.

Hourly Rate: $18-$22/hour, depending on experience, plus bonus potential.
