Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking an Assembler I in a on-site role in the United States. The position requires physical lifting of 50–60 pounds repeatedly and a team-oriented attitude.

Nail gun experience is preferred to support fabrication, pallet assembly, and finishing tasks in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities include setting up work areas, assembling parts, operating hand tools, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to lift 50-60 pounds repeatedly.
  • No minimum experience required; 6 months manufacturing/assembling experience preferred.
  • High School diploma/GED preferred but not required, must be at least 18 years old.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work area setup.
  • Fits parts together per instructions and standards.
  • Operates hand tools to complete assembly.
  • Stacks finished products per procedures and may label/band components.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensures equipment is safe to operate.
  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports issues.
  • Maintains production records as required.
  • Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
  • Performs duties per safety and quality procedures and participates in safety/CI meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Secures and maintains correct parts and supplies required for the operation. Repairs and breaks down pallets. Must have nail gun experience

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
  • Completes work area setup
  • Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and in accordance with quality standards
  • Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process
  • Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures, and if required, may cover, label, and band components finished product
  • Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
  • Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
  • Maintains production records as required
  • Checks materials and finished products to ensure they are compliant with standards
  • Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
  • Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
