Job summary

IHI Connectors is seeking a candidate for a 1st shift assembly role in Reynolds, Ohio. You will perform repetitive assembly at a steady pace, lift 35 pounds frequently and 40 pounds occasionally, and operate the automatic screw table with various hand tools.

You will inspect parts for quality during assembly, box parts as instructed, and maintain the screw table machinery and counting scale. Adherence to written and verbal instructions is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform repetitive assembly with a high pace and attention to quality.
• Frequent lifting of 35 lb and occasional lifting of 40 lb is required.
• Operate screw table and use hand tools per instructions.
• Inspect parts during assembly and follow written/verbal directions.
• Maintain production levels and meet job sheet requirements.
• Store, package, and box parts as instructed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble screws and components into electrical junction blocks using the automatic screw table.
• Inspect parts for quality while assembling per written instructions.
• Set up and adjust the automatic screw table; perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain machinery (oil checks, cleaning, bearings, couplings, drivers).
• Box parts per written instructions and maintain production levels.
• Operate counting scale and ensure correct components are used.

This is a 1st shift position. 8:00 am - 4:30 pm .

• Must be able to perform repetitive assembly work with an average of 1,000 motion cycles per hour
• Must be able to lift parts and components from the floor to the work table, and from the work table to the next processing area - lifting 35 pounds required frequently, 40 pounds occasionally
• Assemble screws and other components into electrical junction blocks, using the automatic screw table and various hand tools.
• Inspect parts for quality while assembling, per written and verbal instructions
• Maintain production levels over the minimum wage level
• Box parts as necessary, per a written instructions
• Operate a counting scale
• Assemble correct components into parts per verbal instructions or job sheet
• Set up and adjust automatic screw table
• Maintain automatic screw table machinery – check and add hydraulic oil, clean machine, change bearings, couplings, and drivers
• Any other assigned task as requested by the supervisor, or acting supervisor, within the training level and physical capabilities of the employee
