Job summary

Executive Alliance in New York is seeking an Assembler to work on composite and electrometric materials. You will follow drawings and work instructions to build components.

This role requires reading blueprints in English, using calipers, drills, rivet tooling, and hand/power tools, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with composite and electrometric material assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings in English.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble composite and electrometric materials according to drawings and instructions.
• Use calipers and scales to measure components.
• Drill composite materials and aluminum plates to close tolerances.
• Sand composites in vented room with appropriate PPE.
• Install hardware and rivets; crimp lug nuts as required.
• Mix adhesives and follow manufacturing procedures.

Our client is seeking a motivated Assembler with a passion for assembling composite and electrometric materials.

Job Function:

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

• Using basic measuring devices such as calipers and scales.
• Following work instructions and drawings.
• Drilling composite materials with close tolerance carbide bit drills with the use of air hand drill motors, drill presses or large drill fixtures.
• Drilling aluminum plates and countersinking holes for different size rivets.
• Sanding for quality finish of all composites in a vented grinding room, wearing fitted particle masks.
• Installing nut plate hardware with cherry rivets, with handheld riveters.
• Mixing a variety of chemical adhesives.
• Understanding and interpreting manufacturing drawings and manufacturing procedures.
• Installing manufactured harnesses and crimping lug nuts.
