Job summary

Crane Company. is seeking a skilled assembler in Ohio to build parts per instructions and tests. You will use hand and air tools, test subassemblies, and support the paint line as needed while contributing to KPI tracking.

Strong teamwork and a commitment to safety are essential; the role requires stable work history and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Stable work history.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts per prints, work instructions, and on the job training.
• Use basic hand tools and air tools to assemble products.
• Perform specified electrical and performance tests on subassemblies and assembled product.
• Assist on paint line as needed.
• Complete KPIs for performance measurement.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Other duties as signed.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Assembles parts at workstations per work instructions and on the job training. Tests pumps and accessories to meet product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

• Performs specified electrical and performance tests on subassemblies and assembled product.
• Assists on paint line as needed.
• Completes key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance measurement.
