Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a production assembler to assemble parts at workstations following prints, work instructions, and training. The role involves using hand and air tools, performing tests on subassemblies, and assisting on the paint line as needed.

The position requires the ability to work in a team, maintain a safe workspace, and meet KPI targets. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.

• Completes KPIs for performance measurement.
• Ability to work with other people in a team environment.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.

Assembles parts at workstations per work instructions and on the job training. Tests pumps and accessories to meet product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Assemble parts per prints, work instructions, and on the job training.
• Use basic hand tools and air tools to assemble products.
• Performs specified electrical and performance tests on subassemblies and assembled product.
• Assists on paint line as needed.
• Completes key performance indicators (KPIs) for performance measurement.
• Ability to work with other people in a team environment.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Other duties as signed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Stable work history.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Mechanical / electrical aptitude preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
