Assembler

Support the production line as an Assembler at PlanIT Group, LLC in Orlando, FL. You will work on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, adhering to Class 3 IPC standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses—build harnesses to wiring diagram, form boards, solder, crimp, plug contacts into connectors, and torque back shells.
• Follow written instructions from mechanical engineering and read drawing schematics.
• Perform a range of tasks from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operations on modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
• Work from diagrams and drawings, create initial layouts, and use hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Conduct continuity checks on work in process and finished assemblies.
• Perform quality inspections of the processing line according to quality specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.
