Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking Assemblers for the Riverdale, NJ area. Start as a key member of our manufacturing team responsible for assembling components from engineering drawings and instructions.

positions include two shifts with 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM on 1st shift and 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM on 2nd shift. Candidates should have a High School diploma, basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic math skills (measuring, calculator use) are required.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions is essential.
• Comfortable using a computer tablet.
• Preferred: 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, communication).

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into finished goods using drawings and instructions.
• Use basic tools and fixtures efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain precise counts and log work in order control systems.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.
• Perform testing, engraving, and packaging as needed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Lift up to 15 lbs frequently, up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Regularly use hands, tools, and maintain close visual focus.
• Exposure to moderate noise and mechanical equipment.

Location: Riverdale, NJ

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Voluntary Saturdays)

Shifts:

1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

• Required: Experience assembling metal parts

2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

• Required: Experience assembling electrical parts
