Job summary

RENK America in Muskegon, MI is seeking a full-time assembler to construct and service military diesel engines and transmissions. You will read orders, follow documented process books, and read process drawings to ensure quality, while using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges.

OJT training is provided and a security clearance is required for this role. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, 2+ years of assembly experience, and reading comprehension of detailed procedures.

• Must have mechanical skills
• Must have mathematical skills
• Must be able to lift and bend up to 50 lbs
• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance

• Assemble parts according to processes provided in established procedures
• Perform required pressure tests on parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Use hand gauges such as Micrometers, Calipers, Dial Indicators and Go NoGo gauges
• Perform and maintain On the Job Training (OJT) requirements
• Any and all other duties as assigned by management

Position Summary:

Position that falls within a collective bargaining agreement that performs and produces quality parts for various customer requirements at our location in Muskegon Michigan.

• Assemble and disassemble military diesel engines and transmissions, and sub-components

Position Requirements

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Material Handling experience preferred
• 2 years Machining experience preferred
