Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a qualified candidate for an entry-level assembly-related role in Madison, South Dakota. The position is onsite with a 1st Shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).

Base pay starts at $21.00 per hour, with potential quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

This position will perform a variety of tasks related to the assembly details in the production process of heavy and large mechanical products per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule.

Shift Available: 1st Shift - Monday-Thursday 5a-3:30p

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a safe work environment

  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures; perform tasks in a safe manner.
  • In the event of an accident or injury immediately, notify the Shift Lead or Supervisor on duty.
  • Operate, maintain, and use personal protective equipment and other safety supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies relating to safety, housekeeping and Hazardous Waste Management programs.
• Work without close supervision
• Contact the Maintenance Department to get equipment repaired when necessary.
• Ability and willingness to take on additional assignments as requested by management.
• Check results for conformance to print and / or specifications and make necessary corrections.
• Work with coworkers in a polite and courteous manner, providing cross training as needed.
• Able to work overtime as required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and independently or as a team.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to stand, climb, crawl, bend and utilize multiple tools including but not limited to power tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
